Rules of the Bubble
WiredorTired.com strives to provide the most wired and tired topics to our users. We ask that our users submit relevant topics, vote reasonably, and refrain from posting or submitting any crude, pornographic, or otherwise unsavory material to the website so that we can keep our content useful and worthwhile.

Registered users can flag content they find inappropriate and our staff will review each such flag to take appropriate corrective action. Such action can include editing the content in question, or removing it completely from the site. These actions will be taken based on our purely subjective criteria.

While we will act as promptly as we can to the content flags, we offer no guarantee as to when (or if) corrective action will be taken. We want this site to be a clean and safe environment for people of all backgrounds to enjoy, but we certainly don't want to eliminate all opinions different from our own. However, by submitting content to this site you agree that we, as the site admins, have the final say in determining how and if that content should be displayed.

Further, while we will permanently remove offensive content from our servers, we cannot be held liable for what others might do with that content before such action is taken. Content posted to this Web site can easily be saved to any user's computer, and there is nothing we can do to stop that. All we can do is remove offensive content from our servers as quickly as we can. Who saves that content, or what they do with that content once saved, is beyond our control.

To ensure that the email address submitted through WiredorTired.com is property of the submitter, we will send a confirmation email to the initiating party and will require a response before the account is activated.

Registered members agree to receive system messages sent to their email accounts. Any registered member who wishes to opt out of receiving these emails may choose to do so by inactive his / her account. Inactive accounts can not submit new topics, leave comments or drop links. Any account so inactivated may be reactivated at any time through the user's profile page.

We personally despise email accounts full of SPAM and engage in rigorous protocols to maintain the security of your personal information. This personal information is never divulged to any third party (for profit or otherwise) and will be kept in strict confidentiality except in cases where this information is required through court order.

The email address of those who initiate contact with The Bubble via our online form (or via email) are used only to respond to the original support request and for no other purpose. These email addresses will be kept for general record keeping purposes, but will be protected in the same manner as the email addressess of our registered users.

This Web site incorporates the ShareThis service as a convenient way for members and guests to share content of interest with their peers. Neither WiredOrTired.com nor The BubbleBoy Network is affiliated with ShareThis, and shall not be held liable for the privacy policy or implementation thereof of ShareThis.

That said, our experience with ShareThis is limited. We chose them over similar services as they do not set Flash cookies (like AddThis) and they have an inline email service (unlike AddToAny). If you experience account abuse from using the ShareThis service, please tell us so we can take corrective action.

This Web site contains links to other sites and is not responsible for the privacy practices or the content of such (linked to) Web sites.

Notice To Copyright Holders:
This Web site is based on user-submitted content. Per legal precedent, you have a right to how your content is distributed online. While we are open-source advocates (and encourage you to loosen up and be the same!), the courts have decided that it is your prerogative to manage your copyrights as you see fit. If content is posted to this Web site in violation of your copyright, you may contact us through our online contact form and we will take corrective action as required by law.
